Dr. Amanda Kuhn

Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Amanda Kuhn at Pediatric Dentist serving Midlothian, Richmond and Chesterfield, VADr. Amanda Kuhn grew up in a small town in eastern North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her BS degree in Biology. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Kuhn and her husband moved to Richmond to complete her two year postdoctoral residency in pediatric dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University where she also earned a Masters of Science Degree. The Kuhns fell in love with the area and decided to make Midlothian their home. Dr. Kuhn is passionate about the dental health of children and enjoys providing a comforting, secure, and kid friendly environment for the treatment of her patients.

Dr. Kuhn was voted by her peers as one of Virginia’s Top Dentists in 2010 and 2011. She also received the Resident Recognition Award at VCU and the Pediatric Dentistry award at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kuhn completed the two part board certification process in 2009 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Kuhn is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Richmond Association of Women Dentists, and the American Dental Association. She is also involved in a number of dental study clubs in the area. Dr. Kuhn’s husband, Todd, is also a dentist and they have three delightful children, Caroline, Charlotte, and Bowen. During her free time, Dr. Kuhn enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her children, traveling, and reading.

Dr. John Flowers

Pediatric Dentist, Dr. John Flowers at Pediatric Dentist serving Midlothian, Richmond and Chesterfield, VADr. Flowers completed his undergraduate training at James Madison University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Flowers received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. After completing dental school, Dr. Flowers pursued his dream of providing quality oral health care to children by completing a two year postdoctoral residency in Pediatrics also at Virginia Commonwealth University. As part of his residency training, Dr. Flowers received additional knowledge and training in the areas of pediatric medicine, sedation and anesthesia, and behavior management. During this time, Dr. Flowers was also involved in sedation research and earned his Master’s of Science Degree. In 2009 Dr. Flowers received the distinction of earning Diplomate status in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry having completed the two part Board Examination process, a distinction reserved for those who undergo a rigorous and voluntary testing process to demonstrate the highest professional knowledge. Dr. Flowers is honored to have been selected by his colleagues as one of Virginia’s top pediatric dentists as featured in Virginia Living Magazine.

Dr. Flowers is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, as well as the Virginia and Southeastern Societies of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Flowers is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry. Dr. Flowers is also involved in numerous dental study clubs in the Richmond area. In his free time, Dr. Flowers enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling, and cooking. Dr. Flowers and his wife, Dr. Tami Flowers, an ophthalmologist, live in Midlothian with their dog, Bella.

Dr. Jo Cronly

Pediatric Dentist, Dr. John Flowers at Pediatric Dentist serving Midlothian, Richmond and Chesterfield, VADr. Jo Cronly earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the VCU School of Dentistry. Upon graduation from the VCU School of Dentistry, Dr. Cronly was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and was awarded the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Award and the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award.

Her love for the Richmond area prompted Dr. Cronly to remain at VCU for the completion of a two year postdoctoral residency in pediatric dentistry. As part of her residency training, Dr. Cronly earned her Master of Science Degree and developed a screening tool to aid in diagnosing pediatric obstructive sleep apnea. In 2015 her research was published in the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine, an official publication of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Cronly has completed the two-part board certification process and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Association of Women Dentists, and the American Dental Association. She has been recognized in both Richmond Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine as one of Virginia’s top Pediatric Dentists.

Prior to earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Cronly obtained a Master of Science Degree in Physiology from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she completed a thesis evaluating a child’s physiological changes during dental oral sedations. For her undergraduate degree Dr. Cronly attended the University of Virginia, where she majored in biology and English.

Dr. Cronly is committed to helping your child maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime, by focusing on prevention of dental problems, protecting their overall health, and creating a relaxed and fun experience at each dental visit. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Ashley Harman

Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Ashley Harman at Pediatric Dentist serving Midlothian, Richmond and Chesterfield, VADr. Ashley A. Harman was born and raised in Sterling, VA. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where she double-majored in Biology and Psychology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. At the VCU School of Dentistry, Dr. Harman graduated amongst the top of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. After dental school, Dr. Harman moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to pursue a two-year postdoctoral residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. At Cincinnati Children's Hospital, consistently ranked one of the nation's best pediatric hospitals, Dr. Harman received extensive clinical training in dental trauma, sedation, and the treatment of patients with special health care needs.

Dr. Harman is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Richmond Dental Society. She has participated in dental service projects across Virginia such as the Missions of Mercy projects and Special Olympics. Dr. Harman believes the early years are critical for children to establish oral health habits and values that will carry into adulthood. She is dedicated to making your child’s dental appointment a positive and enjoyable experience! She loves forming relationships with her patients and aims to provide excellent oral health care. Dr. Harman's husband, Rilee, is a Richmond native and together they are excited to be back home amongst friends and family. In her spare time, Dr. Harman enjoys traveling, running outdoors, and playing with her Yorkshire Terrier, Chloe.
