Dr.
John Flowers
is a graduate of the
Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
Following dental school, Dr. Flowers pursued his dream
of providing oral health care to children by completing
a two year residency in Pediatric Dentistry also at
Virginia Commonwealth University where he also earned a
Masters of Science Degree. Dr. Flowers recently
completed the first step in the two part process of
becoming a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist by passing
the National Board Dental Exam. Dr. Flowers is an
active member of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, the American Dental Association, as well as
the Virginia and Southeastern Societies of Pediatric
Dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Flowers enjoys playing
and watching sports, traveling, and cooking. Dr.
Flowers and his wife, Tami, an ophthalmologist, live in
Glen Allen, with their dog Bella.
Dr.
Amanda Kuhn
graduated from the
University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
After attending dental school she completed a two year
residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Virginia
Commonwealth University where she also earned a Masters
of Science Degree. Dr. Kuhn recently completed the
first step in the two part process of becoming a Board
Certified Pediatric Dentist by passing the National
Board Dental Exam. Dr. Kuhn is an active member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia
Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Richmond Association of
Women Dentists, and the American Dental Association.
She has volunteered for the past several years with Give
Kids a Smile Day and Bright Beginnings. Dr. Kuhn's
husband, Todd, is a dentist in Powhatan and they have
one daughter, Carson. When not treating patients, she
enjoys tennis, playing with her daughter and traveling
with her family.
